Attorney Ira Hardy

Ira Hardy is an attorney at the litigation department of S. Horowitz & Co., specializing in constitutional and administrative law. Ira has represented several high-profile, principled petitions in the High Court of Justice, including the petition received regarding the manner of appointment of the Civil Service Commissioner, and a petition against the amendment of the legislation to change the process for selecting judges, filed on behalf of senior academics in Israel.

 Ira has research experience from the Brandeis Institute for Economics, Society, and Democracy in the College of Management. His research interests include constitutional theory, constitutional and administrative law, and political economy. His research focuses on civil service appointments and the system of checks and balances in Israeli democracy.

 Ira holds a Bachelor's degree (with honors) in Law and a Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA), both from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
