Prof. Tamar Hostovsky Brands

Professor Tamar Hostovsky Brandes is a Senior Lecturer at the Faculty of Law at Ono Academic College. She holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from Tel Aviv University (cum laude) and a Master of Laws (LL.M.) (cum laude) and a Juris Doctor (J.S.D.) from Columbia University. Tamar’s research interests are public international law and constitutional law, and her research focuses on the relationship between the two, as well as the interface between law and political theory. Before joining the Ono Academic College faculty, Tamar worked as an attorney in the commercial department of the law firm Schulte, Roth & Zabel, LLP, in New York, and taught in the Master of Arts in Global Studies at New York University. In 2018, Tamar was a Short Term International Visiting Professor at Columbia University Law School.
